Present Continuous Tense কী?
Present Continuous Tense is used to describe an action that is happening now or around the present time.

Lesson #16-এ আপনি Simple Present Tense শিখেছেন, যা habit, routine এবং general truth বোঝায়। Present Continuous Tense তার থেকে আলাদা, কারণ এটি সাধারণত এখন চলমান কাজ বা temporary action বোঝায়।
Present Continuous Tense-এর main structure হলো Subject + am/is/are + verb-ing. এখানে am, is, are হলো helping verb এবং main verb-এর সাথে -ing যোগ হয়।
She is cooking dinner.
They are playing football.
We are learning grammar.
এখানে am studying, is cooking, are playing, এবং are learning present continuous tense.

Present Continuous Tense Structure
Positive, negative এবং question structure ভালোভাবে বুঝুন।

Very Important Rule
Present continuous tense-এ main verb সবসময় V-ing হবে। Correct: I am studying. Wrong: I am study.

Present continuous tense ঠিকভাবে ব্যবহার করতে এই rulesগুলো অবশ্যই জানা দরকার।
Basic Rule
Present continuous tense-এর structure হলো Subject + am/is/are + V-ing.
He is writing.
They are playing.
Am / Is / Are Rule
Subject অনুযায়ী am, is, are ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
He/She/It is working.
You/We/They are working.
Negative Structure
Negative করতে am/is/are-এর পরে not বসে।
She is not watching TV.
They are not playing.
Question Structure
Question করতে am/is/are sentence-এর শুরুতে বসে।
Is he sleeping?

Stative Verbs Usually Avoid Continuous
Know, believe, like, love, understand, want, need, own—এই ধরনের state verbs সাধারণত continuous form-এ ব্যবহার করা হয় না।
I am knowing him. ❌
She likes tea. ✅
She is liking tea. ❌
Simple Present vs Present Continuous
Simple present habit/routine বোঝায়। Present continuous এখন চলমান action বোঝায়।
I am studying English now. = happening now
She works in a bank. = permanent job
She is working late this week. = temporary situation
Present Continuous V-ing Spelling Rules
Verb-এর সাথে -ing যোগ করার সময় spelling change হতে পারে।
