The Basic Sentence Formula

Subject + Verb + Complete Meaning

Three Sentence Types

Simple Sentence

One complete idea.
Example: I practise English every day.

Compound Sentence

Two complete ideas joined by connectors.
Example: I was tired, but I finished my work.

Complex Sentence

Main clause + dependent clause.
Example: I practise English because I want to write better.

6-Step Sentence Building Method

1. Find the idea: Decide what you want to say.
2. Choose subject: Who or what is the sentence about?
3. Add verb: Show action or state.
4. Complete meaning: Add object or details.
5. Connect ideas: Use and, but, so, because.
6. Check clarity: Make sure the sentence is complete.
