Negative Sentence কী?
Negative Sentence হলো এমন sentence, যা কোনো কাজ, অবস্থা, ঘটনা বা তথ্যকে অস্বীকার করে। বাংলায় এর অর্থ সাধারণত “না”, “নয়”, “করিনি”, “করবে না”, “কখনো না” ইত্যাদি হয়।

Negative Sentence = sentence যেখানে না / নয় / not / no / never অর্থ থাকে।

Negative Sentence-এর Basic Structure
Negative sentence তৈরি করতে সাধারণত auxiliary verb-এর পরে not বসে।
She does not like coffee.
They did not call me.
You cannot go there.
Negative sentence-এ correct auxiliary verb ব্যবহার করা খুব জরুরি।
Negative Sentences with Be Verb
Be verb-এর পরে not বসিয়ে negative sentence তৈরি করা হয়।

Negative Sentences with Do, Does, Did
Present Simple এবং Past Simple tense-এ negative করতে do not, does not বা did not ব্যবহার করা হয়।

Does Not / Doesn’t-এর ব্যবহার
He, she, it এবং singular noun-এর সাথে present simple negative sentence করতে does not বা doesn’t ব্যবহার হয়।

Did Not / Didn’t-এর ব্যবহার

Negative Sentences with Have, Has, Had
Perfect tense-এ have, has, had-এর পরে not বসে negative sentence তৈরি হয়।
আমি কাজটি শেষ করিনি।
সে তার homework শেষ করেনি।
আমি পৌঁছানোর আগে তারা যায়নি।

Negative Sentences with Modal Verbs
Modal verb-এর পরে not বসিয়ে negative sentence তৈরি করা হয়। Modal verb-এর পরে main verb base form হয়।

Imperative sentence-এ কোনো কাজ না করতে বললে Do not বা Don’t ব্যবহার করা হয়।
শব্দ করো না।
দেরি করো না।

Spoken English-এ Don’t বেশি common। Formal writing-এ Do not ব্যবহার করা যায়।
No, Not এবং Never-এর পার্থক্য
No, not এবং never—তিনটিই negative meaning দেয়, কিন্তু ব্যবহার আলাদা।

Double Negative কী?
